Thailand enforces alcohol ban during Bangkok and Pattaya local elections
Thailand has imposed a nationwide alcohol prohibition in Bangkok and Pattaya from 6pm June 27 until 6pm June 28 during gubernatorial and municipal elections, with violators facing up to six months in prison or 10,000 baht fines.
